CalKronos

What You Need to Know

In July 2026, a small group of approximately 1,500 employees with complex 24-hour shift pay requirements and schedule needs will transition to the CalKronos (UKG) timekeeping system.

Highlights of CalKronos

The CalKronos system introduces a modern, tile-based interface that maintains CalTime's familiar functionality while improving efficiency. Key features include:

  • streamlined time-off management with employees requesting time off in the system
  • mobile capabilities for system access from a mobile device
  • automated timesheet integration
  • robust scheduling features to manage teams
  • self-delegation tool for supervisors to manage workflows when they are out

Additionally, the system provides supervisors and DTAs (Timekeepers) with enhanced reporting insights and increased flexibility in managing attendance data.
