2019 Curtailment

Upcoming timekeeping deadlines for the biweekly pay periods will occur earlier than usual due to the holidays and the campus annual energy curtailment period. As a result, we need supervisors and non-exempt employees to follow special instructions and deadlines in order to ensure non-exempt employees hours are reported and paid.

  • Pay Period 12/1-12/14, Pay Day Dec. 23rd
    • Employee Approval Due 12/14
    • Supervisor Approval Due 12/16 by 9am
  • Pay Period 12/15-12/28, Pay Day Jan. 8th 
    • Optional Curtailment Holiday Form due 12/11 
    • Employee Approval Due 12/28
    • Supervisor Approval Due 12/30 by 9am

Curtailment Holiday Form (Due 12/11)

Employees that are not working during the holiday and curtailment period have two options:

Option1: Record leave taken via a computer (access instructions)

Option 2: Complete the Curtailment Holiday Form and turn the form into your supervisor by December 11th. The Supervisor should enter the employees vacation leave or comp-time into CalTime before the supervisor leaves for the holiday and curtailment break and no later then 9am on Dec. 30.

Projected Hours

There is no time projection required this year as the UCPath payroll and CalTime system will be open.  In the past, employees with the assistance of supervisors were asked to enter ("project") time worked in advance of the holiday and curtailment period.  Employees that are working during the holiday & curtailment period may record time during their regular scheduled shift.
